About Brendan

Brendan qualified as a psychiatric nurse in 1980 with honours. After completing his acupuncture training in 1984, he developed an interest in supporting individuals with acute and chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions. He also specialises in women’s health, mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Brendan was instrumental in developing ‘in-house’ acupuncture clinics in GP surgeries in East Kent, and he provided an acupuncture service for the pain clinic in the Kent & Canterbury NHS Hospitals.

Relocating to Scarborough in 2000, Brendan built a busy acupuncture practice and is well known for providing an excellent service to the local community and beyond.

Brendan was a senior lecturer and clinical supervisor at the Northern College of Acupuncture (York) for 18 years.

Brendan is a member of the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
